What is Islam

The arabic word 'Islam' means 'Submission', and is derived from a word meaning 'Peace'. islam provide a way to achieve true peace of mind and made conncetion between you and allah.

Muslims believe that all the prophets sent by god to humanity shared the same central message, and that was the message of monotheism. monotheism is a term used to refer to the belief in the existence of only one diety (god).
ramadan is the arabic name for the ninth month in the islamic calendar of fasting, introspection and prayer for muslims, the followers of islam. muslims believe that some of the first verses of the islamic holy book, the quran, were revealed to the prophet muhammad during the month of Ramadan.

There is no caste system in Islam but according to the origin, culture, language, history there are many communities like Pashtun - who originated from Afghan, Muslim Rajput - Hindu Rajput who converted to Islam, Sheikh - who originated from Arabia, Ansari - The tribes that originated from the Ansars, Siddiqui are part of the Sheikh community, the Silawat - Hindu sub-group who converted to Islam.
